There are many situations in which the behaviour of a structure is closely linked with other physical phenomena such as heat transfer, structural mechanics or fluid flow. One of the advantages of Multiphysic Simulation is the ability to analyse two or more interactions simultaneously in the same simulation environment.

In a single realistic Multiphysics-Model it is possible, for example, to simulate and analyse transient Fluid-Structure-Interaction (FSI). Hence, specific problems concerning, for example, to flow behaviour, stress and strain levels, deformations and buckling instability, stiffness and compliance, natural frequencies, response to dynamic loads, thermal loading, etc. can be resolved.
